My Ads - New and Improved

The current 'My Ads' page is being relaunched with a brand new design which makes it easier to navigate, adds extra functionality and is optimised for viewing on mobile devices.

Managing Ads

Managing your advert is now much more easier than before. You have the option to Publish and Unpublish you advert from the main screen. You can also click on the "pencil" icon which allows you to edit the advert.

Repost

The repost option is now available once you have purchased the upgrade and the ad is published. You will see it on the top right corner of the advert.

Feature Deep Dives

Let's have a look in more detail at some of the new features of the 'My Ads' page.

Banner Carousel

Instead of having all your notifications at the top of your page, one after another, they will now be displayed in a rotating carousel, which will automatically scroll through them one by one. You can also manually scroll through these using the arrow (< >) buttons underneath the banner carousel. This is where features such as Client Eye will be displayed as well as any notifications about IDV.

Upgrades

From the new 'My Ads' page you can click the Upgrades link shown in the image on the left to bring up a list of upgrades that have been purchased as shown in the image on the right. From there you can choose to 'Auto-renew' your upgrade via the toggle feature, or click the 'Add upgrades' button to add further upgrades (such as Repost) to your ad.

Photos

You can now scroll through the images on their ads from the 'My Ads' page.

Ad Statuses

From the 'My Ads' page statuses of adverts and your expiry dates are easily viewable by default without needing to go click on the advert to view more information. Ad statuses visible can be:

  • Published - Ad is live. You have the option to add upgrades or to Unpublish it if you wish to.

  • Unpublished - The ad isn't live. You can publish it. This status is visible either when: the ad requires payment, or the ad has expired, or you have unpublished it.

  • Disabled -The ad has been disabled and you will need to modify it to meet our Terms & Conditions and Posting Guidelines.

  • Pending Verification - The ad is not live yet. This status is visible when: you need to go through phone number verification, ID verification or both phone and ID verification.

  • Processing - The ad isn't live yet. You'll have to be a little patient 😃 . This status is only visible when you have a slow internet connection. When you're facing this issue, click on "Edit" and try to Publish it again.

  • Expired - The ad is no longer live. You will see the expiration date along with the option to renew it. By clicking on this renewal option, you will be redirected to the 'edit' page, and required to make payment before being able to Publish it. Additionally, you can click on the three dots at the top right corner to view the ad’s details.
