Why was my ad disabled? Too many keywords or location references

Your ad may have been disabled because it contains excessive or repeated keywords, place names or postcodes intended to make it appear in more searches. This is called keyword or location stuffing.

What does this mean?

Examples include:

  • Repeating the same search terms throughout your ad.

  • Adding long lists of postcodes or locations.

  • Adding unrelated keywords or locations to attract more views.

Your description should help people understand what you are advertising and where.

What do I need to change?

Remove repeated wording and unnecessary lists of locations or search terms. Keep location information accurate and relevant to your ad.

Use clear, natural sentences. Repeating the same words makes your ad harder to read and can lead to it being disabled.
